【Part 2】 Practice of Prayer and Meditation for Peace at Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park
— Commemorating the 100th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vishnudevananda —
As wars break out across the globe and uncertainty persists, what contribution can we make to peace? Let us look deeply into that answer together.
The single most significant step we can take for peace is “finding peace within our own hearts.” To meditate in stillness and pray for peace—everything begins there.
Message from Swami Sitaramananda
“The memory of war is deeply rooted as ‘guilt’ in our collective subconscious. It is not just an individual issue, but a profound wound passed down through generations within our collective consciousness.
Therefore, there is immeasurable significance in coming together to offer meditation and prayers for peace at the Atomic Bomb Dome in Hiroshima, a place that bore the immense scars of World War II. It is a sacred opportunity to heal those deep-seated wounds and guilt, healing the very ‘collective consciousness’ of humanity.”
Whether you wish to do something for the world or long to live your own life in a state of peace, please join us in Japan to share the “Mission of Peace” that Yoga master Swami Vishnudevananda pursued throughout his life.
